Because of this we provide our children with opportunities that challenge them and foster their progression from one stage to the next. Children develop from one stage to another. In order to accomplish this, we look at the cognitive, physical, emotional and social needs of each child. Our administrative and staff members at Nana’s House complete a vigorous training program designed so caregivers will focus on the development of the whole child. Therefore, it is imperative that the community become familiar with the philosophy behind the operation of our center in order to better understand the focus of the program. The philosophy of a child care center largely influences the types of activities, the curriculum and the kind of care that will be present in the center. The mission of Nana’s house is to offer high quality child-care with focuses on educational curriculum, child development fun and creativity in a safe and nurturing environment.
